The way I seriously go back into keeping koi fish was thanks to one of my dad's friends. He had offered to give my dad a free fiberglass pond tank. I was very excited that after all these years, I finally get to have koi fish again! I quickly did a lot of book researching as a refresher, and joined koi forums to learn and share among other koi hobbyists.
I was fairly active on one of the koi forums, and that was this one:

I learned a lot there. Sadly though, it seems like this forum is no longer running. It was really a place where experienced hobbyists could share their expertise and inspire people who are newly interested in koi to do their research, ask questions, get their ponds and aquariums set up, and most importantly, buy the koi that they will enjoy.
